Hoover–Vestavia Soccer (HVS) invites motivated players to participate in our Girls ID Dates & Open Training Window this April.
This is an opportunity to train within our current team environments, experience our coaching standards, and step into the Girls Academy pathway.
*Open to independent players not currently rostered with another club for the Spring 2026 season. Players currently rostered with another club should contact their club directly regarding participation.
Program Details
📅 Dates: April 13–30, 2026
📍 Location: SHAC, Liberty Park, and other fields (TBD)
⚽ Format: Training sessions scheduled by age group within team environments

GIRLS ACADEMY
The Girls Academy is the top-tier national platform for elite female players in the U.S., and HVS is proud to be part of it. The GA emphasizes high-level training, purposeful competition, and college exposure through national events like the GA Winter Showcase, GA Champions Cup, and GA National Playoffs.
The league also champions a player-first model, offering leadership and wellness programming to support the whole athlete. Players in the Girls Academy are regularly scouted by college programs, U.S. Soccer, and NWSL clubs.
SCCL
The SCCL provides a competitive regional platform for HVS teams striving for excellence. Players benefit from meaningful games, structured advancement, and strong competition across the Southeast.
This league balances quality competition with manageable travel, supporting both team success and individual development.
Alabama Soccer
At the foundation of our player development pyramid, ASA provides meaningful league and tournament play for emerging players. Through ASA’s State League, State Cup, and festival events, HVS boys have the opportunity to grow in a positive and challenging environment.
As Alabama’s official affiliate of US Youth Soccer, ASA plays a vital role in nurturing young athletes and preparing them for future success in the game.

FREE | Open to All Players & Clubs
Hoover Vestavia Soccer is excited to offer FREE Pre-Girls Academy (Pre-GA) and Girls Academy Winter ID & Open Training Sessions, led by our Girls Academy Director and staff.
These sessions are open to all players from ANY CLUB or LEAGUE!
This open environment allows motivated players to train, be evaluated, and experience the Girls Academy training standard, while learning more about the Girls Academy pathway and high-level player development.
