HVS Appoints Adel Alchamat Technical Director

Strengthening Player Development Pathways & Coaching Excellence

Hoover–Vestavia Soccer (HVS) has announced that Adel Alchamat has been named Technical Director to oversee club-wide technical direction and coaching standards


In this role, Alchamat will guide the club’s technical direction, supporting coaching education, player development pathways, and consistent training standards across all age groups. He will work closely with club directors, coaches, and families to strengthen curriculum alignment, support coach development, and help maintain a positive, player-centered environment from grassroots through competitive levels.


Adel arrives at HVS with experience across several youth development environments. He most recently worked with the Clearwater Chargers as an MLS NEXT Head Coach. Before moving to Florida, he served as Director of Soccer Operations and Head Coach at Cedar Stars Academy in New Jersey. His earlier work includes coaching with Soccer Training Academy (STA) and beginning his career within the New York Red Bulls youth program as both a coach and regional coordinator. Adel holds a U.S. Soccer A License, UEFA B License, MBP License, and serves as a U.S. Soccer B License educator.

Having worked with him previously, I know firsthand the professionalism, elite coaching ability, and tactical expertise he brings to a program. His knowledge of the game and commitment to player development will be a tremendous asset to HVS.”

Alchamat brings experience in youth development and coaching leadership, with a track record of implementing training methodologies, technical curricula, and seasonal planning. He will work closely with HVS coaching staff to evaluate best practices, maintain competitive standards, and reinforce the club’s values on and off the field.
