About
Adel Alchamat serves as Technical Director for Hoover–Vestavia Soccer (HVS), providing leadership for the club’s overall technical direction, coaching education, and player development pathway. In this role, he works closely with directors and coaching staff to ensure consistent training standards, curriculum alignment, and a positive, player-centered environment across all age groups.
Adel brings experience from several high-level youth development environments. Most recently, he served as an MLS NEXT Head Coach with the Clearwater Chargers. Prior to that, he was Director of Soccer Operations and Head Coach at Cedar Stars Academy in New Jersey. He also coached with Soccer Training Academy (STA) and began his coaching career within the New York Red Bulls youth system, where he worked as both a coach and regional coordinator.
He holds a U.S. Soccer A License, UEFA B License, MBP License, and serves as a U.S. Soccer B License educator. Adel is passionate about supporting coach development, implementing clear training methodologies, and helping players reach their full potential within a structured, long-term development framework.
